Standardize the process, fixture the critical ops (jigs), automate the bottleneck stitch, and instrument with ERP — quality becomes process-owned, not hero-owned. Tie to IS/BIS evidence.

Q. What’s different about soft-goods vs metal fab?

Material anisotropy, sewability, layered BOM, and regulatory fabric tests — DFMA still applies but the constraints are stitch path and compliance labs, not only FEA.
